HOW THE DESIGN PROCESS WORKS

Posted on June 19, 2014 at 4:55 PM

How Fine Line Design or our on line Interior Design Process Works:

1. An Initial Design Consultation

Fine Line Design plans a visit to the client’s home to evaluate the scope of the work. We ask questions that pertain to the client’s lifestyle. We find out about their personal needs. Typically we are able to determine a budget range for the interior design project at hand.

A second visit may be made to the client’s home to take pictures and measurements so all things can be considered when beginning the design project.

2. The Preliminary Interior Design Presentation

Your preliminary design presentation is shared with you in your home or we send you your design package via email. Oftentimes, the preliminary presentation becomes the final presentation as our clients are usually in agreement with the design.

Color renderings along with creative detailed drawings are available with many design plans. This is a sure way of our clients being able to visualize a complete design of their interiors. We will show you the selected fabrics, furniture, lighting, flooring and even accessories in many cases that give the client a perfect vision of what they can expect in their own homes when their project is complete. Your selected design Package determines your personal choices.

3. Ordering Process

Once the interior design plan has been approved we provide ordering information for you to purchase, either on line or at retail locations. We also offer ordering custom products for you. Everything that we order is put into production and manufacturing. You decide delivery location.

4. Delivery and Final Installation

Once the items have been delivered, an accessory website is given to you. We can choose accessories that best fit the scale and design preference. You can shop right from your own home for some of your products or all of your products. The average savings per room using our on line service is approximately $10,000. Per room.

It’s that easy.

We work with blueprints.

We use Auto Cad.

We do remodels.

We do one room or the entire house.

We work with your budget and timeframe.

HOW CAN AN INTERIOR DESIGNER HELP ME IF I AM STARTING TO BUILD OR REMODELING A HOME?

From complete remodels to new construction, Fine Line Design has been doing it for over 25 years! There are many benefits to hiring an Interior Designer during the construction phase of your home. We are able to provide construction consulting, specifications and installations. From taking down walls to open up a room, recommending the redesign of a fireplace, or a complete home remodel, we are here to help!

Do you have a contractor?

We can work with your contractor or recommend one from our team. We have worked with our contractors for many years, they understand and agree with the "Fine Line Design" work ethic, and serve our clients with the same professional approach they have grown to expect. Quality work and great prices, combined will speed up the completion of your project, and have made many of our clients repeat customers. We only work with licensed, bonded and insured contractors. They are committed to our clients and once they are on your project, will not leave until it is completed. Fine Line Design also offers a “Specification Notebook”, this serves as a guide for your contractor to ensure a cohesive design plan.

Have trouble visualizing the end result?

Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) and Full Color Renderings are also available. This will allow you to see the final product before moving forward. Making changes, if necessary, to accommodate your budget and time frame.
